We-the Binggeser family
We have been renting out holiday flats for three generations in order to offer our guests a unique holiday. The writer and St. Moritz lover once said: "Anyone who maintains the ability to recognise beauty will never grow old." In our opinion, nature in the Engadine makes it very easy to recognise beauty, because it is present everywhere and very much alive, even after so many years of coming to the Engadine - always a delight!
Anna Lena Binggeser
The enthusiasm for the Engadin was already in my cradle, so to speak. At the age of 3 I stood on skis for the first time. I also learned to ride a bike in Switzerland. I also remember very well when I tried out kitesurfing with skis and a kite on the frozen Silvaplaner Lake together with my father.
So I am not only connected with the Engadin region by many great experiences, but also by a feeling of home. Every year I look forward to enjoying the wonderful slopes and mountain landscapes on skis in winter, or cooling off in the glacial lakes while hiking in summer.
In the meantime I also appreciate the peace and fresh air in the mountains. I am also very enthusiastic about the traditional dishes that the Engadin has to offer. I like to enjoy the Italian-Veltlinian influence with a nice glass of wine in one of the numerous restaurants or mountain huts. I enjoy the time out from everyday life in the Engadin to the fullest.
I am proud to support my father with new ideas, so that together we can make SwissMe and thus the beautiful Engadin a real experience for everyone. I look forward to welcoming you as guests in one of our apartments.
sForty years ago as a small boy I explored the Inn Valley with my parents and ao came to ENGADIN. The Upper Engadin never let go of my family, so I quickly got my own holiday apartment for my annual holiday.
With my wife Doris I first explored the high mountain peaks, and with the children in the buggy the varied valley landscape with the rivers and lakes. When the children Ellen and Anna Lena grew up, we went on discovery tours along the streams and fireplaces, as well as the nature trail and adventure playgrounds. In addition to hiking, there were bicycle tours, carriage and train rides. Even today, after so many adventures in ENGADIN, we are still regularly allowed to discover new things and see familiar things with new eyes.
We want to inspire new customers for our apartments and make your stay unforgettable. Our family itself is a critical host, so during our vacations we are constantly looking for improvement potential, but we are also happy to take up and implement the suggestions of our guests.
Together with our local customer service representatives, we are proud to offer our holiday guests an optimum of relaxation and comfort.
The diversity that ENGADIN offers as a fantastic landscape in all seasons acts as a source of energy for us. It is wonderful to pass this enthusiasm on to our international guests 365 days a year.
What we love in Engadin and can therefore recommend to others:
Ulrich's favourite restaurant is the Veltliner Keller in St. Moritz Bad. This is where he likes to enjoy the pizzocherie, a traditional dish. Anna Lena prefers to dine at the Giaonottis Restaurant in Pontresina. The selection of delicious dishes is huge. At the moment she prefers to eat the red wine risotto. A visit to the restaurant La Baracca is a must for every holiday. This cult restaurant combines a pinch of street culture and fine dishes from changing guest chefs.
One of the family's favourite activities is of course skiing. A special highlight for us, for example, is the glacier run on the Diavolezza with a subsequent stop on the Morteratsch sun terrace. But also the winter riding at Wohli`s is a lot of fun. In summer the time is spent with hiking. Our favourite routes include the path to the Segantini Hut, hiking on the Alp Grüm route, or the El Paradiso Hut with the largest cream cake in the world. After a busy day, you cannot afford to miss relaxing, for example in the OVAVERVA Spa. If the day is to be more comfortable, the whole family packs their rucksacks, filled with delicious delicacies such as cheese, salami and nut bread, and drives to the surrounding lakes for swimming and barbecue.
